He currently resides in Austin, TX with his beautiful wife and six children.

Emily Wilson Hussem is a speaker, author, wife, and mother who shares her witness of faith at conferences and events across the globe. She shares on the topics of femininity, faith, dating, motherhood, and relationships, and her books, videos, and talks continue to inspire and encourage women of all ages. Emily is the co-creator of the Catholic children's show Marcam and the co-founder of the new Catholic dating platform SacredSpark. Emily lives in Southern California with her husband, Daniël, and their three glorious children.

Father Ricardo was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and is the youngest member of a large family, comprising nine siblings. His educational journey began at a young age, as he attended Catholic schools from Pre-K through College, where he received a solid foundation in both academics and moral values. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts with a minor in Animation, demonstrating a keen aptitude for creativity and design.

At the age of 25, Father Ricardo relocated to Texas, where he embarked on a career as a Bilingual Teacher for the Alief Independent School District. His exemplary teaching skills and dedication to his students were recognized when he was awarded the prestigious title of Teacher of the Year. After five years in the field of education, he felt a profound spiritual calling to pursue the Priesthood, prompting him to set aside his professional aspirations.

In 2012, Father Ricardo entered the seminary, marking the beginning of a transformative journey dedicated to spiritual growth and theological education. He attended the University of Dallas, where he engaged in the study of Philosophy, further deepening his understanding of the principles that underpin the Catholic faith. Subsequently, he continued his theological studies at St. Mary’s Seminary in Houston, Texas.

Father Ricardo holds a Master’s Degree in Divinity and Pastoral Studies from the University of St. Thomas, along with an STB (Bachelor of Sacred Theology), an ecclesiastical degree in Theology that signifies advanced theological training and preparation for ministry. His commitment to serving others culminated in his ordination as a priest in 2019.

Currently, Father Ricardo serves as the Pastor of the Shrine of the True Cross, where he continues to dedicate his life to the service of God and the community, fostering spiritual development and offering guidance to those in his care. His multifaceted background as a graphic designer, educator and now as a priest enriches his pastoral ministry, allowing him to connect deeply with individuals from diverse backgrounds and to nurture their spiritual journeys.

Matthew Mondragon is serving his 7th year as the Director of Music at St. Martha Catholic Church in Kingwood, TX where he conducts two choirs, two scholas, and a chamber orchestra. After the COVID epidemic, Mr. Mondragon began directing the music for the Traditional Latin Masses at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education and Trumpet Performance from the University of Houston and a Master of Sacred Music degree from the University of St. Thomas. Across the archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, he has served as an organist, bass-baritone, guest conductor, and clinician. He blesses God every day for his wife, Nathalia and his 3-year-old daughter, Olivia.
