Greg and Julie Alexander are Catholic authors, speakers, and founders of The Alexander House Apostolate, a ministry dedicated to strengthening marriages and families. As marriage mentors and presenters, they help couples experiencing difficulties in their relationship regain hope and discover practical, faith-filled solutions that lead them back to the joy, beauty, and purpose of marriage as God intended.
When Greg and Julie married, they were largely unaware of God’s plan for marriage, and as a result, they created deep pain for one another in their relationship. Ten years into their marriage, they came close to divorce. Yet through God’s grace, and with the guidance of a faithful priest who entered their lives at a critical time, their marriage was healed and restored. From that experience, they felt called to share with other couples the truths and tools that helped save their own marriage.
For more than 25 years, Greg and Julie have been walking with couples in troubled and distressed marriages, offering wisdom, encouragement, and practical guidance rooted in Catholic teaching. They also conduct a nationwide ministry called Marriage Disciples, through which they equip and support husband and wife mentor couples to walk alongside marriages in need of healing and restoration. Their passion is to help couples who feel broken, discouraged, or on the verge of giving up find a path toward reconciliation, healing, and renewed hope. They are especially committed to helping couples move from pain and disconnection to a stronger, Christ-centered marriage.
Greg and Julie are also the authors of Marriage 911: How God Saved Our Marriage and Can Save Yours Too, a book that shares their personal story of brokenness, healing, and the transforming grace of God in marriage.
They have been featured speakers at numerous conferences, events, and media outlets, including EWTN Live, Life on the Rock, Fullness of Truth Conferences, the National Black Catholic Congress, the National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers Conference, the USCCB National Pastoral Initiative on Marriage, the Catholic Marriage Summit, as well as many seminaries, parishes, universities, and Catholic radio programs.
Their writings have appeared in a number of books and publications, including Surprised by Truth 3, Amazing Grace for Married Couples, Heaven’s Song, Faith & Family Magazine, Catholic Digest, Envoy Magazine, the National Catholic Register, the Catholic Herald, the San Antonio Express-News, and others.
Greg and Julie have been married since July 1987. They are the parents of seven children, four sons and three daughters, and are blessed with seven grandchildren.
